Unit Plan Title-Art Literature
Brief Summary
Teacher and students will review Trophy story. The teacher will introduce new project; design a book cover. CFQs will be covered with questioning and discussions. The teacher will introduce a checklist rubric that students will create and use while working on their project. Students will use the visual ranking tool to create their checklist before work on project begins. At completion of project, book covers will be displayed and students will access their own projects using their self created checklist. The teacher will provide feedback and the winning design will be voted on and chosen by the students.

Project idea-Students are illustrators designing the cover page for a book that is ready to be published.
